Wow. What a great place to stay. Amy fitted me in last minute, and the place is spotless. The lounge/kitchen/diner is extremely well kitted out with everything you need from cooking, even the washing machine and dishwasher came in very handy, to relaxing on the comfy sofa and watching Freeview TV. Also, May I add, no fire stick needed as this cottage also has the By The Byre Netflix already set up. So, if you want to stay in a place of peace, beauty and comfort, I would well recommend here. 5 mins into town, near the amazing Electric Bakery, lovely walks to the canal and onto the Weir. My family now know about this wonderful place and will also now be booking.

Lovely week staying in the cottage. Home from home comforts. Quiet, relaxing location but ideal for walking as it's just off the cycle path. Fabulous walks along the river and canal. Weather was niced but we did manage to sit and enjoy the garden. Thank you for the lovely welcome

A lovely nice sized cottage with beautiful scenery, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious and a pleasant walk in to Bude and the beach. The cottage was lovely and clean and warm with everything we needed.. can't wait to come back.. thanks for everything Amy, I wish we could have stayed longer xx

Just had another lovely stay at By the Byre cottage. The cottage is very clean, comfy and spacious. A real home from home. Amy, the owner, has thought of everything, from coffee, tea, cookies to laundry tablets and washing up liquid. Everything is covered. Ideally located, just a 15 minute walk down a beautiful tow path or a 5 minute drive into Bude. A little piece of heaven! Definitely recommended.
By the Byre cottage was a wonderful surprise - the photos don't really convey how cosy but at the same time bright and airy the property is. It's warm, snug and laid out really thoughtfully, with no skimping on equipment. And spotlessly clean! The twin bedroom is designed so that each person has a degree of privacy despite sharing the room, ideal for older children / teenagers. The walk from the cottage in to the town along the cycle and canal paths is very pleasant (the ducks and geese on the marsh are good to look at and the trees are covered in thick luscious lichen) and you don't have to rely on having a car to get to and from Bude. I wish we had brought our bikes with us to make use of the cycle path into town as many others do. I would highly recommend this cottage and would love to come back!
Just had a fantastic week here with my dogs. It is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could need. It's also only a 15 minute flat walk into Bude which is my all time favourite place so I didn't really need to use the car at all-there are so many different walks to do straight from the door, think I've exhausted the dogs! Amy is lovely and always there if you need anything-the only thing I needed was another week but unsurprisingly it was already booked!! Hope to go back soon, thanks for a lovely holiday.
